About Me

Technology is my hobby and I am lucky I get to work with it every day.

Based in Dublin Ireland, I work for SAP as an Operations and Project manager. My main focus is coordinating our central Server, Networks, Voice, UC, and Cloud teams operations with the day to day activities of our field locations across EMEA. I am also part of the global Mergers and Acquisitions team, with responsibility for managing the client IT integration of our newly acquired companies across EMEA.

With over 10 years’ experience, I have been lucky that this has let me experience both sides of the aisle, technical hands on design and operations, and also managing the technical people.

I spend an inordinate amount of time in front of computers and connected to the web, which makes getting unplugged all so much nicer. I am an avid amateur photographer that is currently learning to deal with moving images in video!

Away from IT, I am a Search and Rescue volunteer with the Irish Coast Guard unit in Howth. The team is outfitted to deal with cliff and water rescue situations, which can be anything from sinking boats to falls from the cliffs, to sonar searches and even animal rescues.

Outside the office and away from the medical kit, I volunteer in Barretstown as an onsite Cára. Being a Cára involves supporting the children through the activities and working with the program of therapeutic recreation. It is also a lot of fun!
